Robots: See you in the funny pages
I’m not sure it’s a sign that the end is nigh, but when even the daily newspaper isn’t safe from the influence of robots, we’re certainly headed down the road to doom. Robot Gossip posted a rather disturbing item the other day that a new syndicated comic strip called Diesel Sweeties started running in newspapers across the country this week. The strip is all about a robot, its girlfriend, and its ex-girlfriend. There’s even robot-human copulation!
Cover your children’s eyes and burn the newspaper. Robot propaganda has invaded the funnies, desensitizing our nation’s youth to the dangers of robot-human relations. But maybe this is a sign that the newspapers are run by robots. I think Pat Robertson was right.
