Adult Swim downloads Gemberling
Non-existent production values? Check. Nerdy pop culture references galore? Check. Unexpected cameo by The Daily Show’s Rob Corddry? Check. Looks like Gemberling has all the makings of a cult Web series, I sure hope some major media company buys it and puts the show in its cable network.
If you weren’t into Gemberling before, you better get on board before the rest of the world finds out so you can say you were cool way before school. (Huh?) According a post at Boing Boing, the eight episode Web video adventure that takes its cues from TRON and Star Wars is coming to Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. It is pretty freakin’ hilarious, but if you’re thinking of wasting time in the office watching these episodes, I would put on those headphones as there’s a healthy dose of foul language.
