Are you sure you’re not afraid of robots? You might be after reading this.

Samsung recently unveiled an autonomous sentry robot outfitted with an automatic weapon designed to patrol the DMZ between North and South Korea. The machine can not only recognize humans, but it is also programmed to shoot enemy troops or anyone else it deems to be a security threat. A plan by the South Korean government to deploy the $200,000 killer robots has sparked an debate among technologists about the ethics of building machines capable of making such life or death decisions.
