Guess what? Vista has a security bug
Computer security experts revealed late last week that Microsoft’s new Vista operating system has a bug that could make PCs vulnerable to attack. Well surprise, surprise; I didn’t see that one coming.
The problem affects Vista’s e-mail client, Windows Mail, and could allow an attacker to execute malicious code on an unsuspecting user’s computer. Of course, experts were quick to point out that the problem isn’t wide spread because relatively few pleebs have upgraded to the new software owing to the fact that Vista is expensive, presents a difficult and frustrating upgrade process, and you could probably do just as well junking your old PC for a new iMac from Apple.
But don’t worry too much, Windows users. I’m sure that Microsoft will be able to fix this bug over the course of 23 security patches and three or four service packs.
