Cosplay dance rebellion quelled by cops

You know all those times someone says, “There’s never a cop around when you need one”? Well, thankfully in Japan there are always cops around. I say thankfully because we have video evidence of what happens when joyous teenagers are left to their own devices.

Recently a group of cosplayers broke out into a spontaneous dance routine right in the middle of Akihabara. The choreography is pretty good, considering they just showed up and started dancing, but imagine the mayhem if they were allowed to continue. Soon you’d have anime-costumed teens taking over the streets with their peppy J-Pop and mirthful moves.

Thankfully, the police arrived soon after the chaos erupted and broke up the animated anime fans. We all owe a debt of gratitude to those brave men in blue protecting society from public displays of dancing.
