Robots ready to smash!
There’s really nothing better than hot robot on robot violence, I say, and so I was very glad to come across this video from Steven Wagner (via Pink Tentacle) that was pieced together from some old anime footage that was clearly done as a warning to the Japanese about the dangers of building robots.
In this distopian world populated by giant robots, a massive battle takes place with lots of smashing, and crashing and . . . drumming? Okay, I don’t pretend to understand it all, but it is a pretty cool video with music from Japan’s own Melt-Banana. Watch if you dare:
I would also add that this is exactly the sort of thing I would expect to happen if in fact the 50-foot tall mecha Michael Jackson is ever built. We have to stop him people!
