E3 News: Wii Fit
The Nintendo Wii really took the world by storm last year and has sold almost 3 million units since its launch, so naturally there is a lot of interest to see what Nintendo will do with its new system this year. One of the games getting a lot of attention is Wii Fit, which doesn’t appear to be a game as much as a replacement for your copy of Jane Fonda’s Workout tape.
I get where Nintendo is coming from here — fun for the whole family, getting the non-gamer and casual gamer interested — but this is one title I’ll probably not be buying. (Thought the footpad controller might have some interesting uses in other games.)
