More robots taking over the music scene

A while back we posted a video of some Old World machines playing ragtime music, but don’t start thinking that robots can’t rock out. Proof comes via a recent post at the infinitely superior Suicide Bots about the performance art/rock band Captured! By Robots. Turns out some dude calling himself JBOT built an entire band of robots with which he records and tours. It is quite a spectacle.

Now it would be easy to label JBOT a traitor to the human race for creating a band of rowdy metal monsters but the thing is he’s keenly aware of his dubious role in the coming robot uprising. He admits during an interview with Geek Entertainment TV that he a) hates robots and b) is afraid other people will create more rocking robots. Well, at least he’s learned his lesson.

What I’m not quite sure on is if the robots would insist on them playing “Mr. Roboto” by Stxy or would they refuse to play it? I guess it would depend on the quality of their programming.
