ConnectR or SnoopR
Today the robo crazies at iRobot unleashed their latest creation on the world. Called ConnectR, it comes with wi-fi networking, a built in camera, speakers, and a microphone so that you can communicate with anyone in your house from the comfort of your panic room. Kind of like the robo Ivan only for a lot, lot less.
What a bunch of evil geniuses those Roomba guys are. Sure, it looks harmless enough, but it’s really a high tech Trojan Horse. I can imagine that while you are off at work, it roves around your house uploading pictures of all the entrances and exits, all the windows, the whole floorplan. Can you imagine all that data going into the central Matrix computer? And then on the day of the robot uprising, you might as well open the door and greet your new metal overlords because they’ve already got your place surrounded. Brilliant.
