WowWee Robots Will Annoy You With Jokes
At this year’s CES, consumer robot maker WowWee is set to unveil its newest models including several bots that tell jokes. So this is where the robot revolution is taking us?
According to PC World, the company’s new products include Mr. Personality, a three-wheeled robot with an LCD face that really, really wants to be your friend. It tells jokes and plays games, and with a USB connection you can download additional personality traits. Hopefully one of them will be to stop annoying us with lame jokes.
Other new WowWee robots slated for this year include Tri-Bot, another joke-telling machine; the Web cam enabled Rovio, touted as a home surveillance robot that you know is just gathering intelligence for the robot underground; and FemiSapien, a female version of their popular RoboSapien that can dance to music and control other robots.
