Some Day We Will All Have A Wii

Pretty amazing numbers coming out of Nintendo this week. Apparently they’ve sold just over 20 million Wii consoles in 14 months since the launch. According to Kotaku (and they should know) Nintendo’s Game Cube console sold 21 million units during its six-year lifespan.

Presently Nintendo is shipping about 1.8 million Wii boxes a month, so at that rate it would take less than 10 years for every home in the world to have one. But then what, Nintendo? Wii 2.0?
