ASIMO runs, dances, does not fall down

In addition to all the other gadgets and robots appearing at this year’s CES, the show also featured an appearance by the world famous falling robot ASIMO. Only this time, he/she/it didn’t fall down. Instead it ran around the stage, did a little dance, and successfully negotiated those stairs.

For a good number of years now, ASIMO has been sort of the top dog among androidian, human-like robots, being one of the first to successfully tackle the whole bipedal walking thing.
